In facilities with extensive infrastructure one size does not fit all.  That is, the most effective maintenance concept will usually be a variety of approaches. How we approach our maintenance should be based on multiple factors and should vary based on these factors. This presentation will outline the most common maintenance strategies, such as run-to-failure, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, and condition-based maintenance. The speaker will then describe the variables that must be examined, including equipment criticality, ease of correction action, costliness of action, and safety considerations, in order to develop a maintenance plan that is best for your unique facility.
